Now these I really enjoyed writing. Both series were for ‘reluctant teenage readers’ but very different in style. The Headwork series from OUP provided opportunities for some very short stories and some quirky plots – as well as an opportunity to write some playscripts.

The Folens On the Edge series (now taken over by OUP) was designed to be ‘edgier’ and also to have a cast of characters and a setting in common.  It’s a challenge writing with a restricted word limit and vocabulary but one I really liked.
